Crushing Equipment

1.Jaw Crusher

Mild steel fabricated crusher body is strengthened to withstand heavy load. Main (Eccentric) shaft is running on antifriction bearings. Jaw plates and chick plates are made from highly wear resistance manganese steel. Oscillating Jaw is fabricated from mild steel, which is fitted on main shaft. Both flywheels are work as pulleys. Flat OD wheel is for flat belt drive and V-grooved wheel is for V-belt drive. Out let gap can be varied easily by add OR remove mild steel plates between toggle plate and main body. VIRA Engineering’s jaw crusher is generally used as a primary crusher in a crushing circuit.  Product is fed into the top of the jaw crusher by feeder or hopper.  The eccentric rotating drive shaft causes the movable jaw to oscillate crushing the aggregate against a fixed jaw.  Jaw crushers are run on belt drives driven by an electric motor.  Jaw crushers are used extensively throughout the aggregate and mineral processing industry.

VIRA Engineering’s offers bare jaw crusher units, modular and portable jaw crusher assemblies and entire crushing plants. Contact us for your jaw crushing needs.

2.Roller Crusher

Roller Crusher

A roll crusher crushes using compression, with two rolls rotating about a shaft, towards the gap between the rolls. The gap between the rolls is set to the size of product desired, with the realization that the largest feed particle can only be 4 times the gap dimension.

The particles are drawn into the gap between the rolls by their rotating motion and a friction angle formed between the rolls and the particle, called the nip angle. The two rolls force the particle between their rotating surface into the ever smaller gap area, and it fractures from the compressive forces presented by the rotating rolls. Some major advantages of roll crushers are they give a very fine product size distribution and they produce very little dust or fines. Rolls crushers are effectively used in minerals crushing. Usually, these crushers will have teeth or Smooth forms on the face of the roll. Roll crushers used for minerals and metal ores have smooth faced rolls.

3.Hammer Mill

Hammer Mill

The basic principle is straightforward. A hammer mill is essentially a steel drum containing a Horizontal rotating shaft or drum on which hammers are mounted. The hammers are free to swing on the ends of the cross, or fixed to the central rotor. The rotor is spun at a high speed inside the drum while material is fed into a feed hopper. The material is impacted by the hammer bars and is thereby shredded and expelled through screens in the drum of a selected size.

Hammer mill comprises of a heavy duty mild steel fabricated body (alternatively stainless steel construction can be provided in hammer mill wherever necessary). The grinding chamber of hammer mill is lined with serrated wear plates, which protects the body from wear and tear. A dynamically balanced rotor in hammer mill with a set of swing hammers accelerates the grinding process. The screen classifier forms the lower half of the grinding chamber of hammer mill.

  • Easy to change Screen in a variety of sizes
